I am a servant of music. I live for this pretty much every day. I now teach at Washington State University where I direct a pretty rocking vocal jazz group. I play in a number of bands, including Jazz Northwest, Funk Dis, and my own Ensemble, The Service. I write music for lots of groups, I most enjoy writing for my own band, but arrange for vocal jazz groups and other ensembles. I also sing with Acaplaya out at Burning Man and direct the coolest choir I've ever known, The Black Rock City Playa Choir... I am less concerned now about the ego and more concerned now with creating musical spaces that up lift people. I still want to ride snowboards as much as possible! 49 North, watch out...
