So wtf is Monkie*Baere? We are a band out of the greater Los Angeles area with influences as diverse as 311, Pixies (that's right, there's no "the" in front of it), My Bloody Valentine, Guster, and many more. The combined result? Well, it doesn't really sound like any of them, and you'll be able to find out in December when Monkie*Baere releases their debut EP "Urban Regatta". This album will be available for free in physical form at neighborhood stores in the LA area as well as digital files available at monkiebaere.com . Monkie*Baere will also begin playing shows this winter around LA and we will be posting details once we get dates lined up. Check back frequently as we will be making updates, and if you want to add us as a friend, well, we're very lonely people.
