We had the baby!! A beautiful baby boy! He weighed in at 11 pounds 22 inches! Can you believe it! He was huge! The doctor felt so bad and said he never would have let me deliver naturally if he had known. Despite his size my entire experience from pregnancy, to labor and delivery were amazing and blessed! He looked like a japanese sumo wrestler or an eskimo when he was first born ( which was exactly what his daddy looked like as a baby) but he is already starting to change so much. We think he is just the most beautiful thing in the world and couldn't feel more blessed to have him in our lives. We did run into a small problem when he was three weeks (he is now 5 weeks) the doctor discovered he had mastitis which is usually found in breast feeding women. So he would have to spend a couple days in the hospital, the antibiotics were not working out as well as they hoped so they gave him an additional antibiotic and also called the surgeon in. He had a small surgery done on the 11th and is now home and recovering well! Thank God! It was quite an experience and I am praying he never has another hospital visit again!
