Created in April 2007 by Olivier Sentenac(Bass), Romain Larreguain(Guitars) and Laure Laborde(Female Vocal) Silent Opera is a Melodic Progressive Metal Band. During a few months, the band composed a lot of material within searching other members, staying centred right on the composition. As they had composed enough, the band could began searching their future members.
In November 2007, the band welcomed a new one, Franck Junca(keys), thanks to Olivier who's found him on Youtube. After having found their second singer, Sébastien Brandely, the band decided to record their first two tracks, Black of Despair and Lost Souls, in February 2008. The only problem was the drummer who felt in the band.
In June 2008, the band won the chance to record one of their tracks, Lapse of Memory, on the Ipparaldeko Kompilazioa CD, a best of the nothern "Pays Basque" bands, which will be released on September 2008.
In July 2008, Franck left the band during a year for personal reason. This is not definitive and will be return on July 2009. His supply isn't found yet.
Crée en mai 2007 par Olivier Sentenac(Basse)Romain Larregain(Guitares)et Laure Laborde(Chant), Silent Opera est un groupe de Métal Progressif Mélodique. Durant plusieurs mois le trio resta concentré sur la composition, sans chercher de nouveaux membres, afin de ne pas se disperser. Après avoir composé suffisament d'éléments, le groupe se mit en quête de nouveaux musiciens.
En novembre 2007, le groupe accueilla un nouveau membre, Franck Junca(Claviers), grâce à Olivier qui le dénicha sur Youtube. Après avoir recruté leur deuxième chanteur, Sébastien Brandely, le groupe décida d'enregistrer leur deux premiers morceaux intitulés Black of Despair et Lost Souls, en février 2008. Le seul problème étant le batteur qui manquait toujours dans la formation.
En juin 2008, le groupe eut la chance de gagner sa place sur le Ipparaldeko Kompilazioa, compilation des groupes du Pays Basques nord et qui sera en vente dès septembre 2008.
En juillet 2008, Franck quitte le groupe provisoirement pendant un an pour raisons personnelles. Cela n'est heureusement pas définitif et un remplaçant est en cours de recherche.
