Born in 1980 A. D. as Adam John LeHouillier, the world was introduced to a visionary. Coming up in a positive Catholic household on the mean streets of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Adam was given the freedom to express himself through any form of art he desired.Through his younger years, you couldn’t spot Adam without a pencil and paper. Always writing stories and making illustrations to go along with them, he was constantly coming up with new stories to entertain his family and friends with. Violence and comedy always excited Adam’s fantasies, and it came through in his books and illustrations. Today, he would have for sure been put in juvenile hall for some of his radical ideas. Thankfully he grew up in a much simpler time, where he was able to speak of unabashed child abuse and serial killer neighbors on a weekly basis in his junior high English classes.During his early years of storytelling and art expression, Adam had always pictured his work on the screen. And once he hit high school, Papa LeHouillier brought home the family’s first handheld camcorder device (a contraption with the capabilities to capture moving images and sound for entertainment purposes). When Papa wasn’t filming family reunions and Adam’s baby sister’s ever exciting bath time, Adam borrowed the camcorder at every chance he could get. This began with the evolution of America’s new favorite past time, backyard wrestling. BYW was born in 1995 with Adam as the cameraman and colorful commentator, with his friends as the heroes of the federation. BYW had not only revolutionized the sport of professional wrestling, it had given Adam the freedom to discover space through the lens of a camera."Guts on the Ceiling" was born in 1998. One young man’s idea to make the perfect horror movie began as a fun project, but by it’s completion in early 1999, it had become the sensation movie goers were yearning for. Adam had become a local hero overnight. After high school graduation, Adam had began production on various other fun projects including "Justifiable Impact", "Over the Hill", and "Guts on the Ceiling 2". Unfortunately, college had dampened available time for Adam and his actors, ending these projects prematurely as he went on to the more experimental styles his eyes were opened up to. Attending University of WI- Milwaukee, Adam was taught the ins and outs of all types of filmmaking. He graduated in record time after 4 years, with a dozen short films and a wealth of knowledge under his White Sox cap. What to do with all this knowledge? Adam worked in retail. Now what? There he was, a young and educated artist with nothing but drive to create and he was stuck in a career he had no intention of pursuing forever. Soon after, Adam was inspired by something in a deep corridor of his heart, and for the first time he had something personal to say. He wrote his first feature length screenplay. Through the next couple years, Adam channelled his storytelling abilities into screenplays. Still living in Milwaukee, there was little opportunity for a young filmmaker and screenwriter.Once packed with enough passion to fill 10 adult video stores, Adam kissed his mother goodbye and hit the road for the sunny Hollywood, CA where he resides to this day. The future is looking very bright for our young hero, as he goes forward with dreams of becoming the next great original storyteller through the medium of film.
