Four years ago I began "Chasing Down A dream" when I recorded a demo album entitled "Me Against Myself." The album was the beginning of a musical journey for me. A means to express myself through song.
In 2005 I met an amazing producer named Rodney Gene AKA "Soundpreacher" Rodney immediately injected life, passion, energy and soul into my lyrical ideas. We had a goal to write a retro-pop rock album that has spiritual or personal lyrics, sends a positive message, and has some thick musical colors and elements throughout. "Lessons" combines the musical elements of Bon Jovi, Creed, Def Leppard, Styx, and Christian rock artists like Jeremy Camp, and Kutless. It is highly personal but universal.
Blood on Blood, Lessons and Letting Go of Me have all won first place in rock contests at www.freemymusic.com while Chasing Down a Dream and Waiting For Tomorrow have won 2nd and 3rd place. The rest of the album has the potential to deliver the same success!
