I am here for Friends

About Me

MY FAITH: If you know any one thing about me, let it be this. I am fueled, I am driven and I am on fire. I speak with no shame when I say that I am in existence only to bring glory and praise to God Almighty. He is omnipresent, all-knowing and utterly attainable. No single thing is more important to me or more dear to me. I can sum my faith with a single word. Fireproof. While the fire of God burns within my soul, the fires of Hell cannot burn me.
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." - Isaiah 53:5
"Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit." - Psalm 32:1-2
MY CONDITION: I have a fairly rare birth defect known as Sacral Agenesis . It pretty much means I don't have a tailbone and some of the bones that go with it. I walk around on custom-built titanium crutches. I also have carbon-fiber foot braces that keep my ankles locked in at 90-degrees. I won't say that this disability is cool, but I cope with it alright.
MY JOB: I work in a small community pharmacy where I'm a nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The job basically entails me to all the duties of a pharmacist without all of the critical knowledge and credentials. I know a lot about drugs and stuff. I love the job and I feel so fortunate to find something that I am so interested in so very quickly. I'm pondering whether or not I should really take the plunge and attend pharmacy school and get my Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. I haven't ruled it out but I'm not very certain.
MY RIDES: I am in love with muscle cars. I've got two Pontiacs. I'm currently driving a 1968 Pontiac GTO. The Pontiac GTO is easily the quintessential muscle car and quite possibly the greatest car ever produced. I also own a 1968 Pontiac Tempest Custom. Same bodystyle as the aforementioned car, just less optioned. Awesome rides. One's grey, the other's red. Let's get one thing straight: I really hate Mustangs. The Mustang never was and never will be a muscle car. It's just far too popular to be unique and cool Okay? Glad you understand. I am enthralled with Pontiacs and GTOs specifically. But I definitely have a certain affinity for Chevelles, First-Gen Firebirds and other GM A-body cars.
MY PERSONALITY: I have an awesome personality. You're sure to love it. I have one of those dry, sarcastic / cynical personalities that makes you cringe with curiosity. Many cannot distinguish my sarcasm from anything else. So, if you can, you deserve some credit. I am pretty darn funny, too. I do a lot of ridiculously stupid things. I am also obsessed with grammar and feel that it should be proper in every way possible. If you ever catch me make a spelling or grammatical error you have the full privilege to rub my nose in it and laugh at me. I tend to correct people often and help them "learn" from their mistakes. People really seem to think I'm cool, and I'm still not sure why. I am also a very random person, I speak what comes to mind when it comes to mind. Not to say that I don't think my thoughts through, because I'm often very thorough. I'll be happy if you buy me things - please and thank you!
MY GIRL: I have an amazing girlfriend whom words can hardly describe. Her name is Bethany Dawne and my love for her is undying. She's amazing in every sense of the word and makes me amazingly happy. She's beautiful, smart, funny and puts her faith in God. If you like me, surely you'd like her.
THINGS I LIKE: Here is a short list of things that are awesome. Jesus. Vanilla Coke. You leaving me comments. Being asked pointless yet amusing questions. Worthwhile music. Pontiac GTOs. Myself and other cool people. Video games. Girls with glasses. Girls with long hair. Windows Live Messenger. Chocolate chip cookies. Radio-controlled cars. Fire and explosions. Humor and sarcasm. Repeating what I thought I heard somebody say. Pharmaceuticals. Muscle cars. Concerts. Cats. toothpastefordinner.com Star Wars. Burning out. Chinchillas. Hedgehogs. Italian sandwiches. Overly elaborate explanations for extremely simple procedures. Pizza. Mexican food. Good grammar. Sunshine. Salt water fish tanks. Oh, and Ashley Wolfe is pretty much the coolest person in Arizona. You should be her friend and talk to her because she's totally way rad-awesome. Yep, that's fo' shizzle. Lastly, I like you.
THINGS I DISLIKE: Here is short list of things that irritate me. People who boast themselves with how many no-name bands they know. People who think their Mustang is cool. Ice cream with the little frozen crystal thingies on it. Waking up early. Buying gasoline. Guacamole. Mushrooms. Import "ricers". People who "hack". Satan. Temptation. Dumb people. Emo music. Winter. Rain. Rap music. Country music. Azithromycin. People that dress up in lots of black with studs and safety pins all over their clothes. This page is best viewed in Firefox.

My Interests

I'm in love with muscle cars. I love the GM A-Body cars like the Pontiac GTO, the Chevrolet Chevelle, the Oldsmobile Cutlass / 4-4-2 and the Buick Gran Sport. I also race radio-controlled cars. I race a Team Losi XXX-NT AD2 and a Team Losi LST. I'm strongly addicted to dirt-track circle racing. Sprint cars, modifieds, pro-stocks...they're all great. I love photography. I have an Olympus EVOLT E-500 digital SLR. I like to think that I take some intriguing photographs; some stills, some action and some abstract. There's even an album of some of my photography in the pictures section! One of my photos made it onto the label of Jones Soda. Music is a huge part of my life - both playing and listening. I love Vanilla Coke, but its sadly been discontinued. I long await the day that Coca-Cola brings it back. I still have a single 12oz can saved as a memento. I spend more time on MSN Messenger than any person should. If you are cool than feel free to ask for my MSN address and we can chat. I have a Sony PLAYSTATION 3 and a Sony PSP; I spend some time playing awesome games. Movies are alright but I typically don't have an attention span to hold me to one unless it is really enthralling or humorous. I love being different. Not in every way imaginable, but I like to do things that aren't "normal". I have a certain set of "moral values", so to speak that some people might find a little unusual. But, that's what makes everybody special (and makes me awesome!). I like to watch people. People are interesting creatures and observing them in their natural environment is, at times, rather curious. I like to hang out with my buddies every so often, but I'm also rather unsocial at times. I've got some awesome friends, I couldn't ask for better folks to consider close friends. Animals are pretty awesome; I have two cats and a sugar glider. Holly and Greg are good kitties. My glider is named Amy.

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to, essentially, meet someone with similar interests. Whether it be music, religion, humor or whatever else makes me so awesome. It'd be swell to meet someone who can make any situation funny and always has something clever or witty to say. If you are just such a person feel free to send a friend request my way.

Music:

I am in love with music. Faith-based music is the most surreal thing on this planet. More than anything, I listen to Christian-fueled rock and some Christian-fueled metal here and there. The bands most sacred and influential to me include Spoken, Disciple, Demon Hunter and Skillet. Some of my favorite albums right now include The Triptych by Demon Hunter, By God by Disciple and ...And the Rest Will Follow by Project 86. Take a look at some of these bands. They're all great! Movies:

I shall give you a short list of the movies I've found to be awesome. I don't typically get involved with films, so these are pretty special ones.

The Star Wars sagaThe X-Men sagaThe Spider-Man sagaNapoleon DynamiteThe JerkRain ManGone in Sixty SecondsPirates of the CarribeanSling Blade

Television:

If I have the television on I'm probably playing video games. These games rule.

The Resident Evil seriesHeavenly SwordMotorStormResistance: Fall of ManThe Ratchet & Clank seriesThe Splinter Cell seriesWarhawkThe Devil May Cry series

Either that, or I'll be watching the Discovery Channel. Ever see that Survivorman guy? He's pretty insane.

Books:

Books bore me. I usually read magazines. I like High Performance Pontiac and Radio Controlled Car Action . I've gotten into a few books, though. I've read everything in the Harry Potter series and I'm into the Resident Evil novels. But don't get me wrong - the Holy Bible is a terrific book. Give it a read sometime.

Heroes:

It's easy to confuse heroes with idols. Heroes are those that save the world and humanity. Idols are the people that you aspire to be in the likeness of. Jesus Christ saved all of humanity from sin and even told us not to worship false idols. Hmm, sounds like a simple solution to me.
