Waitingshed

Waitingshed was formed in the suburban town of Laguna in May 2003 by singer/guitarist Krypton Milabo, drummer Kelvin Milabo, and guitarist Mark Sy, as an outgrowth of their dazed and confused teenage years. All three were college students at the time, and they soon began playing at underground punk venues around the city. The band was first called Gloomy Sunday and later, Waitingshed. In 2005, Paolo Romero stepped in as the group’s new bassist and recorded their first demo CD. Starting out as both intricate and visceral, they simplified their sound into more straightforward punk-pop, typified by the buzzing guitars and high impassioned vocals.
