Formed in 98 Goat Sack Waterfall aquired it's name on a float trip that took place on the Spring River in Hardy, Arkansas. After an impomptu performance around the camp fire the previous night the trio decided to form an all acoustic band. When asked what the name would be, the three decided to name the band after the next three things they saw while canoeing down the river. Low and behold a goat appeard, then a sack, followed by a waterfall and the name was born.
