MUSICIAN BIO - My name is Brian Chandler, and I'm a solo acoustic musician originally from Staunton, Virginia. I have been playing music since I was very young, playing guitar since I was thirteen, and I’ve been playing gigs full time as a solo acoustic performer for a year now. I am a former band member of Maybe Tomorrow (guitar), BX3 (guitar), and Big Boots (drums) of Staunton, and I also played guitar with the original bands Lovepuddle and Lovewreck in Front Royal, Virginia. My influences are very broad, but I'd say my favorite band and the one most indicative of my taste and style is Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Some people have told me that my voice sounds a bit like Tom’s. I have a song list (posted in my blogs) of 100+ songs, and I’m learning/writing new ones all the time. I’m currently working towards recording an EP of original music to sell at my gigs. I have my own PA system that is versatile enough for small spaces, larger venues, and outdoor events, and my stage set-up does not take up much space. With the extensive list of songs I play, I pride myself on having something for everyone. I can play a low key, coffee house-type set, or rock it out with some sing-along, danceable tunes.

PERSONAL - I got married to my girlfriend of 7 years, Erin Duncan, on the beautiful island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean on October 14th, 2008. She is the best part of my life, and my biggest fan. We live in the Shenandoah Valley with our dog Dalton and our cat Michie.
