WHO ARE WE?
HOG MOB is a collaborative organism of like minded people, meld together by a common goal…, “impacting our culture and changing the climate of our individual communities for the Kingdom of God.”
Bottom line… We are the “urban, hip-hop ambassadors” of the Kingdom of God. We represent Him in our urban communities.
HOW WE DO… HOG MOB?
HOG MOB is, and always will be, a Christ based, hip-hop music entity dedicated to infiltrating and influencing the mainstream music industry.
However, HOG MOB is also a voice and catalyst of change in our communities. We recognize that our greatest impact and benefit will be realized through the lives impacted by our unselfish, practical acts of kindness and face-to-face ministry. With this in mind, HOG MOB’s other impact thrusts are hospital and convalescent home ministry, street ministry, mentoring abandoned or at risk children, and providing assistance (financial, spiritual, and practical) to widows and single parents.
HOG MOB is also dedicated to providing organizational covering and guidance to other like-minded individuals or organizations desiring to impact their communities for the Kingdom of God.
HOG MOB OATH
HOG MOB is established upon the foundation of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and we embrace the non-violent philosophies of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
As a member of HOG MOB:
- I promise to honor God in my conduct and my conversation.
- I commit to helping at least one person less fortunate than myself everyday.
- I promise to submit myself to a pastor and church for spiritual development and covering.
- I will be an asset to my community, not a liability, and endeavor to build a place where our families and children can live in peace.
- I will represent HOG MOB “positively” in my community.
- I will attempt to resolve any dispute, irritation, or confrontation without violence, whenever possible, understanding that any action I take reflects upon my character and reputation, as well as that of HOG MOB and Jesus Christ.
- If I determine that I cannot live up to the above standards, I will resign my affiliation with HOG MOB.
H.elping Others – We are at our best when we are mindful of the needs of others.
O.vercoming Adversities – We are not victims. We can do all things through Christ Jesus.
G.iving Unselfishly – The reason we give is not to get something in return.
M.inistering the Gospel – The Gospel message is the essence of HOG MOB.
O.pposing Injustices – We stand with/for those who have been wronged in hopes of gaining equity.
B.uilding Our Communities – We will not stand idly by and watch our communities deteriorate. We, through Christ, will be the solution.
