About Me

Me and Dusty are crazy best friends that love to cuddle and play We were both rescued from the animal shelter and are grateful that we got a chance at life.

TUNSI'S STORY: I was at the humane society found as a stray in a room filled with other cats... I was lounging around one afternoon in June of 2005 high on my cat perch because I kept getting picked on by another cat.A girl and a guy came in the room and then I knew that it was fate. before the girl knew it, I reached out my paws and crawled into her arms... it was love at first sight. But when the girl left the room, I was devestated. I sat there watching the door hoping with all my might she would come back... Just as I was giving up hope of seeing the girl again... she came back! And I got to go home with her! It was the best day of my life! For a while it was just us girls hangin' out... doing girly things... untill Dusty came...

DUSTY'S STORY: I was 10 months old - cold, sick with a respitory infection, had ear mites, and my sister had just been adopted leaving me lonely and scared in a small metal cage... I cried myself to sleep, I cried at people walking by, I was miserable. My nose was stuffy and my eyes were tired, I bet I looked pitiful. Finally I met a girl who came to the shelter and asked to hold me. I loved the feeling of being loved, something that I missed so much... especially since they took away my sister, the only stability I had in my short little life. It was hard to see her leave... but something told me I'd see her again... and I did! When I first came "Home" I had to spend time in the bathroom because my new sister Tunsi was not so sure about me... in fact it took at least 2 months or so for us to get to know each other, but now we are best friends- we cuddle together, play together, kiss eachother everything. Its good to be home!

The girl who adopted us just got married so now we have another person to love us. We have some pets too- we have 4 birds and fish... we LOVE to watch them and see them fly. They were rescued birds too. We love to go outside, going for walks, to our frinds house- Kashi and Kumba. Our owners take us to parks, and out for icecream, and love to cuddle with us. We get to cuddle in the bed at night and have everything we need... its like heaven on earth :)
