Art is the ability to tell the truth, especially about yourself.I have always been drawn to exploring different ways to express myself through my art. As a little girl I was in awe of beauty in every form. I thought my mother was beautiful and my father was fly. All ethnic women are beautiful to watch. I love the fashion and even more styles we create. While other little girls were playing with barbies I was taking appointments for beauty make-overs with the neighbhor children.All while eating flavored ice and reading W magazine at age 6. I devoured magazine after magazine for a glimpse of what seemed like glamour and beauty. I learned everything that glitters isn't gold. Growing up in different cities and countries, but I'm Moorish - Ibo American. Besides love, few things match the power of music for the soul. I listen to every genre of music from classical to reggae. My confession is I am "brown sugar" and I fell in love with hip-hop. Hip-Hop came from the beat of the drums or the bass that represents our rich culture. I admired multi-talented artists, like: Janet Jackson, Tupac Shakur, Russell Simmons, and the incomparable Oprah Winfrey. Of course no one is flawless and to be idolized. True story! In college I gained experience performing for audiences: poetically, theatrically, and through college radio, television and film productions. I realized that to make the most of my talents and experience I needed to explore my options. Luck is simply the time when preparation meets opportunity. Now I am coastal I living between Studio City, California and New York, New York, South Beach, Florida. I co-produced an urban entertainment talk show for Access television. No matter the task at hand I am consistently, innovating my craft, as a successful entrepreneur and artist.
A well appreciated fact is that I am Creative Director/ Image Consultant/Make-up artist of (trademark & copyright) FREE AGENT & CO. I am also founder of the Free Agent Movement, which incorporates the -B-Free-2B- Foundation. Freedom in the pursuit of Love & Peace, through knowledge, wisdom and understanding of the truth is the Free Agent Movement's mission. True growth comes with learning, that no one in this life, can be too enlightened, and embracing change. This is the essence that keeps me GRACIOUS inspite of my LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT attitude! Cant stop! Wont stop, is a great philosophy that describes my drive and energy. Like the inspiring singer/ actress Aaliyah sings, If at first you dont succeed, dust yourself off and try again. I believe in trusting truth and in integrity! My positiive attitude is my best quality!
