About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
Ok, here goes:
I was born in Ledyard, CT, then moved to the coastal plains of NC when I was six. I was homeschooled when I was little (stop judging me - I can hear you judging me) and eventually went off to college when I was 16. I finally escaped that when I moved to Lombard, IL in 2003.

I'm 5'9", with long blond hair and blue eyes. I'm weird, off kilter you'd say, but you won't realize that unless you try to talk to me.

I'm either super witty, or completely bumbling, and apparently every time I open my mouth I seem to be flirting, so, go figure.

I alarm everyone by not being the sweet, proper debutante that I look like. I'm nearly impossible to offend (I'll make you blush before you make me, says five bucks), I like geeky and wrong things; comic books, B movies, games, horror, porn (and all sorts of combinations therein) and other sundry degrees of outre that most other girls don't.

And thusly, I don't have many female friends.

I love dark carnivals and old houses and tiny doors from the turn of the century or before. I will go back to England some day. I don't look very interesting, I never adopted any particular appearance, but I love tattoos; crazy hair; goatees and sideburns; piercings and make-up; corsets and scary shoes; suspenders and ball gowns...

I have accidentally collected over 2000 horror movies, posters, toys and memorabilia; more than I ever meant to in my natural life. People say my home looks like a museum.

In my very little free time I love food, animals, music; I fancy myself a horror movie connoisseur, and listen to old radio broadcasts because it feels like home for no reason I can understand.

I'm bored... so very bored... by my life and the fact that it is not as romantic or fanciful or amazing as the one in my head that I seem to remember living, but don't remember when.

I'm not exactly a social butterfly but people seem to think I am, so I guess I put up a good front. In the end just give me some nice, introspective solitude, and I'm set.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who can make me laugh, or at least carry on intelligent conversation. People who won't annoy the piss out of me. People who share my interests.

But I've known some brilliant people who should not be allowed around others... or outside of a cage... so a small spark of emotional intelligence is a big plus.

I would love to meet any of the folks listed in my interests (and have, on occasion - yay me!)

My Blog

The new Star Trek movie made me cry.

This'll be a hell of a way to get back into blogging, after all this time, but there are moments when I simply must say something, and I'm pretty sure that's what blogging is for, so here we go.  Aaan...

99% of humans shouldn't inflict themselves on pets.

First of all... I've been going to bed earlier. And by "earlier" I mean "before 3:00." I don't know if this is because I've been in an adrenaline slump and have been super tired, or maybe my circadi...

The inside of your brain should be silent on the outside.

You can tell how I felt about a movie by how quiet I am after watching it.If I am chatty and laughing, generally I though it was either delightfully bad or unfortunately bad, but in one way or another...

Story Time

Well, October is over, kiddies, and that heralds my ungraceful return to the internet. Sure, there's stuff happening in November; my folks are coming into town for Thanksgiving, and Bruce Campbell is...

What a night...

I have just played with guitars, sang, drank lubricating quantities of liquor, and shaved two boys' heads into mohawks.I have now decided that you are not truly friends with someone until you have a s...
