Tomiko actively speaks out on behalf of the LFA and has traveled to Capitol Hill to testify on behalf of legislation that would provide more research and funding for those in need. Due in part to her efforts, that bill was passed. She has also taped a public service announcement for the LFA to educate the public about Lupus.Tomiko is also the founder and creator of a female empowerment group called "Tomiko Fraser's Goddess Gathering". THE DJ: DJ RELL - Born to a family of music lovers, the Bronx-born, Long Island-raised DJ grew up listening to music from his grandmother's and parents era and developed an affinity for music from several generations. DJ Rell was first introduced to deejaying when he tagged along with his older cousin to the music studio where he worked.Upon receiving his first pair of turntables as a Christmas gift at the age of 18, DJ Rell quickly discovered that DJ"ing was his passion. After moving to Los Angeles in 2005, DJ Rell attended Scratch DJ Academy to perfect his deejaying skills and Musician's Institute for recording engineering. After taking every class that Scratch DJ Academy had to offer, his skills were so impressive that he was asked to become a teacher's assistant.DJ Rell is known for his signature style, and his expansive knowledge of music allows him to set the mood for any party and any age group. From hip hop, R&B, and reggae to 80s, old school, and rock, he keeps the dance floor packed.He's been featured at Hollywood hot spots such, as Area, Level 3, The Little Temple, Les Deux, LAX, Forbidden City and Star Shoes. DJ Rell is currently part of a deejay crew called The Spinaddicts, which is comprised of a several very talented deejays of various ethnicities from all over California.
