My name is Kerri Rakestraw and I'm married with four kids and tooooo many "adopted" kids to even begin to count!We recently relocated to the Lithonia area, and God knows that I am so glad we did. I was born and raised in Covington, GA, but in most conversations with people from cities outside of Covington, comments were always made to me that I didn't "sound or act" like I was from Covington....wasn't quite sure what that meant, but hey.I had my oldest son when I was 17 years old and God knows it was truly a struggle that we were determined to win, and even after 19, almost 20 years, playing catch up has been on the top of the list everyday; but keeping God's presence alive in my life is the only way that we survived and are able to make it everyday that we live. We've got one girl in the midst of three boys, so it is a must and definitely not an option, that I do no less than LIVE BY EXAMPLE!!!I'm so thankful that God has entrusted A.V.A.Y.A. Ministries to me and it encompasses several different services and products, that are all designed to uplift, encourage, motivate, and inspire.I must be about my Father's business.....are you?
