MARTIN KEMP

Martin's Full name is Martin John Kemp. He was born on October 10, 1961, in Islington, North London, England. He is the youngest son of Frank (a printer) and Eileen Kemp and has an older brother Gary (an actor, musician, and songwriter). Martin married Shirlie Holliman (a singer)on November 14, 1988 an has two children: Harley Moon, and Roman.
Martin started his career as the bass guitarist for the 80's group Spandau Ballet who are best known for his such as 'True' and 'Gold.' Towards the end of his time with Spandau Martin was offered the part of Reggie Kray playing along side his brother Gary in the critically acclaimed film 'The Krays'. After a short career in Hollywood where he made a number of less well known films Martin returned to the UK where he underwent treatment for not one but two brain tumours. Fully recovered from this Martin was offered the role that he is probably best known for, that of Steve Owen in EastEnders.
Today Martin runs his own film production company Black and Blue Entertainment and has recent completed his first film starring his brother Gary 'The Karma Magnet'
