Hi - I am an abstract painter based in
UK. I have
added a few of my recent oil paintings to this site - have a look at

I studied painting at Nottingham for four years and
graduated in Fine Art in 1987. I have been very influenced by the
American Abstract Expressionists, and have slowly developed my own
style over a period of some years. Painting for me is very much a means
of self exression - the process of creating each painting is as
important to me as the finished artwork.
While all the paintings are
abstract, ambiguous shapes and forms are visible in the abstract
composition, which are suggestive of different things to different
people. These are paintings in which the viewer can perceive different
things each time they look at a painting.
