Modern Fonts

About Me

Founded in January 2008 by the former members of "Breakfast Anytime," Modern Fonts is a three-piece band playing a variety of rock styles. Recently, the band has finished the four-track demo released June 1st, 2008, and has been working hard to book shows at a variety of venues, including Statiu's, The Beat Coffeehouse, the 400 Bar and the Fine Line Music Cafe. Members of Modern Fonts all hail from the South Side of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and met through somewhat random events in the spring of 2006.
Modern Fonts music has no distinct style, prompting one member to classify it as "ADD Rock." The result is a blend of styles, creating a sound that relies on structuring and instruments to stand out as unique.
