Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt
At 6'1" and 205 lbs., Gouveia fights as a light heavyweight in the UFC. He holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is a member of American Top Team.
Hailing from Fortaleza, Brazil and fighting out of Coconut Creek, Florida, he sports a record of 10 wins and 5 losses with half of his wins coming via submission. Goeveia has a 3-1 record inside the octagon with all three of his wins coming by submission. He defeated Wes Combs at UFC 62, Seth Petruzelli at UFC Fight Night 9 and Carmelo Marrero at UFC 71.
