About Me

While the concepts of "s.a.i.n.t. RECON" embody the bittersweet experiences and theories behind playing in a band, the actual sound came about when I started combining live bass and hiphop beats. I loved the vibe, but also, I visualized a route toward relying more on myself as a musician and less on others.
I've learned something from everyone I've ever jammed with, and playing with live musicians is the ultimate organic experience, but I grew somewhat disenchanted with the live lineup after years of pouring so much time and energy into bands only for things to ultimately self-destruct.
As a result, I dreamed up s.a.i.n.t. RECON; a project intended to take what was once weak and make it strong. Everything badgering about playing in a band is what makes this project thrive beyond what I could've ever expected. I set out to revive my spirit as an artist through the power of efficiency and trust, and that's exactly what has happened. By that measure, no matter where Rusty, Ace, Kinetik and I end up, I feel as though we've already succeeded.
The debut album will feature AceOne, Rusty Redenbacher, and Kinetik -- three of Indy's finest (and bravest) emcees... but don't be surprised when you hear some special guests join them from beyond the midwest and even beyond the U.S.
AceOne (of Justice League): This dude brings so much depth and character to everything he touches. He has a unique voice and always opens his soul to the mic. The guy is so real; as if his skills weren't actually learned. A.C.E.O.N.E. was born an emcee. (And a poet.)
Rusty Redenbacher (of the Mudkids): For those of you living in Indy, there's nothing to say musically about this guy that you probably didn't already know. To any out-of-towners, let's just say if the United Nations of Hip Hop needed Naptown representation, We'd send him.
Kinetik: A versatile emcee out of Ohio, Kinetik draws from a highly polished bag of tricks that will surely bring him to the forefront of the underground scene very soon. His playful vocal cadences bounce around the beat like a yo-yo trickster strolling through the park. Each session with him is unlike any other. Kinetik; a diamond in the rough.
Very sexy, don't ya think?
Yours,
s.a.i.n.t. RECON
