Scribbles, Nationwide Tour

About Me

I have been scribbling for some time now. I have been scribbling thoughts, memories, feelings, and descriptions of humanity evolving about me. I organized these scribbles into "Scribbles and the many Questions of Cause and Ripple Effect" in early June of 2007. "Scribbles" for short. In the course of a weekend with a lot of coffee and little sleep, if any, Gamble came up with the visual image that is "Scribbles." My dad was the first to read it. He read "Scribbles" in one sitting out in the Gazebo behind our house. I remember feeling at the time that I had met with somewhat mixed reviews."Scribbles" came to life for the first time on August 1, 2007 at Castaways Coffee House with a world premire reading and my first sale."Scribbles" went on evolving. With the genius of Gamble, Kenny in Falls Church, and Pink Floyd’s theory of the wall of sound, I was able to record the audio version of "Scribbles Vol. 1" in early September. Then at Java Mio Coffee House in Old Towne Pertersburg, VA, by incorporating the audio recording and adapting the writing, "Scribbles" was no longer a simple reading, but a performance of sorts. Using video footage of the two coffee house readings and a little extra here and there, Gamble Put together the "Scribbles Vol. 1" DVD.After some dreaming, thinking, talking, revising, and 5 redrafts "Scribbles" has evolved once again into a 35min full drama in one act to premire at Longwood University May 1 and 2.Come and check out "Scribbles" a one-act Drama by Ryan Tiller.
