About Me

Jane O. Houseal At 30 years old I find myself to be several things; a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a student, an employee, and a woman. However, the one thing that really defines me as an individual is that fact that I am, always have been, and always will be-a musician. My mother says I started singing before I could talk, and I took off from there. I am a singer, a songwriter, and a pianist. I have been performing professionally for about 12 years, but have been performing in front of audiences since I was five.I have been playing in the Wilmington area now for five years. I can usually be found playing at venues like: Circa 1922, Costello’s Piano Bar, Sweet & Savory, The Underground, and the restaurants on Bald Head Island. I have had to cut back a little due the recent birth of my little baby girl, and can currently be found at Circa 1922 and Costello’s (both in downtown Wilmington). To check out my schedule and some of my original work, go to: janehouseal.comI have also found a great love for performing in wedding ceremonies. I sang in my first wedding at the age of 10, and have been called upon for wedding ceremonies ever since. I specialize in contemporary wedding ceremonies, but can perform any style needed. I am experienced in handling everything from strictly performing to planning and coordinating all of the ceremonial music and anything that may entail (speaking to the church, finding other musicians, set-up, etc.). I believe that music can make or break a wedding, and I receive great satisfaction out of contributing to your special day.For Booking Contact @: [email protected]
