I love thrift stores. My favorite thing is to go in and look for material. From sheets that no longer have a bed to lay on or drapes that have no windows to cover, I will take those long forgotten treasures, and make them new again.
After a day of thrifting I take my finds and wash them, dry them and admire their beauty... then I slice them to pieces. The goal being a beautiful cloth grocery bag, one that you can use over and over. If I never had to use another plastic bag it would be too soon.
I see them everywhere in fences, in parks, floating down the creek in my back yard. Enough already, lets get rid of them.
