Dead Bat Gropup is currently busy, discussing ideas for several new projects. There's going to be one big photo session in July, to which we are now preparing (because many interesting materials are still unavailable in our country, we have to order things from abroad, and sew by ourselves). The following session is meant to be set outdoors in the beautiful park surrounding the castle in Krasiczyn  (direction sketches coming soon).
DEAD BAT GROPUP is looking for models, fashion desiners, make-up artists and hair stylists to collaborate with.

..The roots of this project are linked to and inspired by German Expressionism.
Robert Wiene's 1919 classic "Das Cabinet Des Dr Caligari" is, in every way, a courageous piece of film making. The Expressionistic set design, as the backdrop to the story of a mad doctor and his manipulation of a somnambulist, is brilliantly conceived, especially when considering the twist at the end of the film. The sets give the film a definite and appropriate dreamlike quality.
We've spent 6 hours preparing the set and 10 hours in the studio. The work was hard, but we had a good laugh (see backstage pics). Big thanks to make-up artists, courtesy of AA , whose beautiful work can be seen on every picture, and Olga who helped with the set. Additional pictures & sketches coming soon.
