About me. Hmmm, well, I havn't changed this section since I signed up in October sooooo, here we go.I am outgoing, loud, obnoxious, caring, open minded,opinionated, loving,perverted and intelligent. I do not tolerate closed minded people. I am a liberal to the core. I will always support the under dog. I strongly support gay and lesbian rights. I am a christian. I love God and I am incredibly proud of this. I am not a religious nut, but am trying daily to BE a better christian/person. I enjoy intelligent debate about religion and politics. It gets me excited and gets the "brain juices" flowing!I don't have a huge number af friends but the small circle of friends that I do have, I hold dear to my heart. I DO NOT add random people to my site. Most of my "myspace" friends are my friends in real life. The people in my top 8 are the people I have known for more than 10 years or if not it's because I love them and they mean something to me.First thing in my life is that I am a mother. I have an incredible son, Andy. I am married to my husband Phil. Lastly, I am a nurse. It's who I am. I love being a nurse, I love taking care of people, I love the empowering feeling I get knowing that I have helped someone by talking to them and educating them. Television:

CNN, MSNBC, House, Law and Order, Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs. Generally, I'm a channel surfer. I can't stay on anything for too long. This irritates most people who watch TV with me................

Books:

Anything by Patricia Cornwell, John Saul, John Grey. Tim Allen's "Don't stand too Close to a NAked Man". I've read soo many and there aren't many I can say were horrible. Lately I'm into non-fiction.

Heroes:

My parents, of course for putting up with me and for being hard working, kind hearted people. Also, Pat Brakefield. She is one of the best nurses I've ever worked with. She is truly compassionate and genuine. She is an incredible person too. She is probably one of the only sef-actualized people I know and I aspire to be more like her personally and professionally. I could not measure how much knowledge I've gained from her friendship and guidance in the mental health field.
