the baconator!
baconator (buh-cawn-uh-tour): an evil, burger-like robot
So, wondering where this came from? Sitting in Matt's office one day, a couple of us were just chatting. I brought up the thought that the Wendy's Baconator sounds so mechanical, so evil. Matt agreed, and gave the Baconator the pronunciation it has today. I decided to sketch this out, and gave it some minions and such. This is one of my favorite things to draw now, when I'm bored or whatever.
now, about me.
I'm 18, and I graduated from Choctawhatchee High, class of '08. I really love drawing, even if I don't have much time to do it these days. And reading, too. I like historical fiction, which is funny 'cause history classes chewed me up and spat me out like one of those neon colored frogs. I like making myspace layouts, too. I love going to the beach, too. But not if I'm the only one swimming, 'cause that's just lame. My favorite actors are Jim Carey and Adam Sandler. Their movies are just amazing.
My car is gorgeous. It's a baby blue 2000 Toyota Celica GT. I love it. It drives like a champ, and has a pretty good stereo. Needs a little care, but what car doesn't? Now I just need to get my license! Random Likes: food, loud music, purple, getting paid, MY CARRRR, lemons, video games, lemurs, Halloween!, car alarms, the internet, photography, Anberlin, octopi...
Random Dislikes: CLOWNS, paying for expensive things, Jumangi, clock radios, getting up early, stupid music, idiots, boxy cars, grapefruit...
I work at Circuit City, selling video games, car stereo systems, iPods, computers, cameras, camcorders, radios, home phones, and all of their accessories. It's a lot to remember, but I've gotten used to it. I'm getting better at selling stuff. I get really, really excited when I have perfect tickets. The people are cool there, and it's fun. Even when it's slow, and jerks come in yelling about stupid things, I like it there.
The church is pretty much my favorite place to be. I'm a child of God, but I didn't realize it until about a year and a half ago. The bible is still kinda foreign to me, and I'm trying to learn more about His word. It's kind of sad to know that I'm leaving the youth group now. It seems like last week that I joined it, but it also feels like I've been part of it for forever.
Darren is my pillar. He's my best friend, my other half, and the love of my life. He teaches me things, even if he doesn't think he does. I know we can conquer anything if we work on it together. He's the cream cheese to my bagel. I love that we don't even have to make sense when we're talking, and we know what the other means. But he still looks like a pirate.
My mom is so weird. It's cute how she's going out and partying now. I'm happy that she's having fun. I fear that she's going through the "mid-life crisis" thing, and that worries me. I love her, and I'd never trade her for any other mommy. I mean, what other mother would let 15 kids have a water fight inside the house? Or go bowling with the guys until midnight? I just wish she'd stop showing my picture to the strange men she meets...
Andrea is my sister from another mother. It's funny to think that we met because we were wearing the same sweater! She's another person I'd be lost without. She's really the only girl I hang out with on a regular basis. I love her, and I wish I could see her more.
Evan, Evan, Evan. He's my brother, through and through. He's the reason that I got into Oblivion, so blame him! But, really. He's one of the best people I know, and I'd trust him with my life. His mom is pretty much my second mother? He's Darren's best friend, and they hang out all the time. Sometimes I feel like I'm dating both of them, 'cause they're hardly ever apart.
My other friends are mostly guys, really. I'm not really big on hanging with girls. I was raised among guys, so that's just what I'm comfortable with. That being said, I'd rather be treated like one of the guys. I may not be able to take down Adam or Steve playing football, but I'll sure try to slow them down.
I love my pets. Three cats and two dogs. I really want a milk snake, too, but my mom says nay. My cats are Quest, Pepper, and Tim. If I was forced to choose, Tim would be my favorite. He's my buddy, and chats with me when he's hungry. He's a lap-hog. Pepper is a big fat fatty. He's not overweight, but he does have a little wiggle. Questie is my girlie, but she likes to keep to herself. When she's sleeping, she turns into a sphere. Darley is my mom's dog, and she's really old. She has health issues that all shih-tzus get when they're old. Abby is my puppy, and even though she's obnoxiously energetic, destructive, and runs out of the gate, I love her. She's learning. She's a cutie when she wants to be.
That's enough for now. I'll add more later.
