About Me

Olin Lane, from the West Texas town of El Paso, was orphaned as a small child and raised by indigeous Pueblo people in a small village near Silver City NM. He didn't learn to speak English until he was almost 10 years old, and was born without the ability to do anything that makes sense, like normal people. He grew to be a rebellious teenager and hitched a ride on a Union Pacific train when he was 15 to Midland Texas, where he became an accomplished singer/songwriter, and was later nominated for three CMA's for his debute album Who Ate The Worm?. The youngest to achieve such a feat. He went on to follow up his hit record with a South/Central American tour claiming a substantial fan base in the entire Western hemisphere except for Canada. One night on tour with his band, The Tequilla Regulators, Olin Lane climbed on top of a house at a party proclaiming he was a "golden god" and jumped off into the swimming pool hitting his head on the side, leaving him in a coma. When he came to, 8 years later, he had no recolection of any of his past accomplishments, and had to start completely over here on myspace with these two simple songs he wrote. No shit.
