PUSHfACTOR

About Me

PUSHfACTOR will be in your face. That is, if they aren’t already. With riffs that grab you by the back of the neck and a live show that hits you like an 'aural-hand-grenade', PUSHfACTOR incorporates all the elements of a perfect rock band in to a high-octane style all their own. Formed in 2001, PUSHfACTOR made a name for itself in their native home of Joplin, Missouri, by demonstrating their blistering, balls-to-the-wall stage presence at every show. This relentless approach to their live show helped PUSHfACTOR to win two Battle of the Bands within two weeks, upsetting some of the area’s more established acts. Now, after moving to Austin, Texas the band has brought its intricate grooves and driving melodies to the live music capital of the world. Broken Tool/No Talent, Pushfactor’s latest CD release, showcases the band’s aggressive rock styling. Recorded in Austin at Lounge Acts Studios, this CD contains four tracks that keep you hooked from beginning to end. The third track entitled, “Jimmy Clausen,” was picked for the Edge Magazine’s Real Texas Edge vol. 2 CD compilation showcasing the top bands in Texas. Out of approximately 700 bands that entered the contest, only 20 were picked for the CD. The raw, adrenaline laced closing track, “Recycled Puppies,” received reviews on GarageBand.com ranging from “This [is] a hell of a rockin’ track…I banged my head into the desk.” to “…a pulse pounding guitar riff with the drums maintaining the perfect beat to create an overall atmosphere of rock…” Returning from hiatus, PUSHfACTOR has been writing songs for their upcoming CD to be released in Oct/Nov. So be on the lookout for PUSHfACTOR, or you might just get knocked on your ass.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
