Lithium Waltz

About Me

Lithium Waltz actually started in 1996 when Iggy and Joe met and formed The Pop Weasels, the ultimate unknown band. The Pop Weasels abortive first (and only) album "Fresh Fruit for Sergio Leone" has, mercifully, been lost to the winds of time (for the most part, although the multitracks are still floating around somewhere... Yikes!).
After six years of songwriting, the project studio grew dull and the first Lithium Waltz lineup was formed, and promptly de-formed in 2003 when personnel issues became too much to take.
Fast-forward to mid-2005 when the new lineup was formed and Lithium Waltz pushed forward. With a body of some of the finest pop songs of our time and hard-hitting multi-instrumentalist Wes on drums Lithium Waltz finally seems to have it's act together.Enjoy, or else... real editor best profile tools real editor best profile tools

This past Sunday we were able to get some great tracks down for The Afterlife.  Acoustic guitar and Iggy's vocals.  This album is shaping up to be something very special.  We've had a run of "happy mi...

Totally non-relevant to band matters

So my wife and I are checking out the different ads for bedroom furniture.  Most of the places have these whole-room sets for not so bad prices.  The only thing I don't understand is why do they only ...

No tracking LLatLV tonight

We didn't do any recording tonight.  No, not because of the Super Bowl.  We're not exactly Super Bowl sorts...not when the alternative to watching the game is playing music.  Which is what we did.  It...

Day Two of Tracking LLatLV

We skipped recording last week because some other things came up but this evenings session more than made up for whatever lost time we might have had.  By the end of tonight I felt like Taz (from Loon...

Day One of Tracking LLatLV

We've kicked off this new year more right than we have ever kicked off any previous year.  Recording an album.  An actual album.  This one will be called Life, Love, and the Low Voices.  This evening ...

2005 - Present

I'm at the computer tonight (duh).  The wife is away at her sisters along with my sister.  They had a "girls night", watching Twilight (y'know, the vampire/wolf fantasy teenage soap opera).  This week...
