Christianity in it's true sense is not anti-women’s rights. It's historical Christianity that's anti-women’s rights.
The challenge for us Christians is in being able to separate historical Christianity from the Christianity founded on Jesus' teachings. This is in reference to historical practices based on tradition which have no sound biblical doctrine.
Jesus was a big opponent of traditions that had nothing to do with the scripture. “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions,†Mark 7:9.
