A Mexican native, Sirius was born in Juarez, Chihuahua in 1983 and raised in El Paso, Texas after 1988, the same year a vibrant, urban cultural movement was living its Golden Age. Sirius was not to be a part of this movement until a decade later, taking up the art of break dancing. At the beginning of the new millenium, Sirius befriended a group of emcees while attending Franklin High School, got ahold of their demo, and tried out a verse of his own out of sheer curiosity. On his first try, it came naturally. Sirius has referred to his rhyming discovery as an "accident".
Since then, he has remained a hidden jewel in the underground Hip-hop scene, despite having done projects with more established local artists like Phunetik of Interstellar Dwellars and Semantics Tha Superego throughout the years. A diamond in the rough waiting to get on the cut with other local heavyweights, Sirius continues to create and innovate in a genre where the majority have chosen to negate and imitate.
In November 2008, on the verge of his 25th birthday, Sirius decided to musically expand even further by starting to play guitar once again, for the first time since 2002. Since then, he has put tremendous focus on shaking off the rust and expanding his playing skills. His Hip-hop projects have been put on hold for the time being.
