About Me

Thank you for checking out my page here. I am a singer/songwriter from Milwaukee Wisconsin. I am deeply involved in many things that peak my musical interests, that include performing, writing, recording, and teaching. I write, record, and perform my own songs, as well as perform in a cover band here in Milwaukee called The Now . We play anything from The Rolling Stones to The Killers, to Bon Jovi. I have been writing and recording songs most of my life. Currently I am in the studio recording my second solo CD, entitled "Faith". It is where my greatest passion is, although playing in a cover band helps pay the bills. I am always interested in meeting fellow musicians. Please take a moment to check out my main website as well michaelrossa.com .

Blogs

I love to write. I write about many different things that I am passionate about. Soem things are heavy like politics and religion, and some things are very lighthearted, and tongue -in-cheek. I am a very opinionated person, and I truely believe that what I believe is what you should believe- that's called a "point of view". I will vehemently stand up for what I believe and I will not back down from any position or viewpoint of mine. I am perfectly willing to defend my position with clearly stated facts and reasons for what I believe. I love a good debate, especially with people who are as passionate about their point of view as I am about mine. I am a Christian and I am a conservative. That's right- I am a musician that is NOT a Liberal :) I am interested in meeting people of all walks of life as I believe that you can learn something about yourself in each and every person you meet in this world.
Please do not read my blogs if you cannot handle a strong willed, expressive, passionate person like me.

David Dettlaff was a guitar player for Rhythm Method- the best cover band in the state-period.No one guitar player on earth had more of an influence and inspiration on me as a player. I played drums with him in a band years ago when I met him, and he is the person that made me want to play guitar. His inspiration and infuence fills my every being as a guitar player. He was and always will be the best guitar player this state has ever seen. He played with a fluidity and grace that you will not find in anyone else. His level of expertise is what a guitar player should aspire to every night on stage. His light will surely be missed by me and many others in this community.

Brian Williams is a disgrace to Journalism!!

His Liberal, biased  slanted display this morning was  enough to make me gag. To have the audacity to do a 45 second "pre emptive" strike before airing his interview with Palin was atrocious...

How The Republicans Lost The Election

By being a bunch of soft hearted wussies. Plain and simple. When I watch the debates I just long for a guy like Guiliani or Romney to be up there debating so that we could get some real points across...
