Radio work (traffic reporting for 970WFLA, 1250WHNZ, and 610WIOD). Music collecting (primarily vinyl records), mainly metal but do like industrial, "hard alternative", indie rock/punk etc.
People that are interesting, and have a wild streak like mine. Also I'm looking to start getting on the "being a dad" tip but not too big into having to be married, kinda like Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed.
What metal band are you?
Iced Earth
You are Iced Earth! Your music stems from classic heavy metal with slight thrash roots. You love melody in your music, and you definitely love adding the element of fantasy with reality when you write your songs. Rhythm speed, heaviness, and melody are what you're all about!

Death metal, thrash metal, power metal (oh heck, all metal) and a bit of everything else. I go through phases where I become a big fan of a group, then buy everything they put out, including the import singles for the B-sides. The music that influenced me the most has been from Concrete Blonde, Ozzy Osbourne, Living Colour, Joe Satriani, Megadeth, Motorhead, Napalm Death, Slayer, Ministry, W.A.S.P., Jane's Addiction and Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks in the past, and the newest groups I've become interested in have been ones like Trivium (til they started aping Metallica), Between the Buried and Me, Dark Tranquillity, My Dying Bride, System of a Down, Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Lacuna Coil, Tori Amos, Doro Pesch, Opeth and Goatwhore, and I'm REALLY digging the new Dax Riggs album. I also got hooked on newer Jeff Beck and Cowboy Junkies material as well recently, they rock a lot harder as they got older.
Primarily interested in gory horror films and off-the-wall, over-the-top comedies. (Though Bloodsucking Freaks was a little overboard)Just finished a phase of renting a ton of movies that were originally rated X, just to see what the big deal was back then. The best of the ones I just rented was BLOOD FOR DRACULA, which was also rated X, but was really good - I really felt sympathy with the Dracula character! And of course, I'm a HUGE Grindhouse fan, I think I'm one of the ten people who saw it at the show...twice! And I bought both soundtracks!
Crime shows/forensic (Law & Order SVU, Cold Case Files), sports and music-related programming. The main channels viewed on my TV are ESPN, VH1, VH1 Classic, USA and A&E.My houseguest Steve T. also got me addicted to That 70's Show and According to Jim.
Read the new Bruce Campbell book a while back. Still read any math-related books when I see them.Tried reading The God Delusion, but I'm still on page 93 after 6 months. Too much like a lecture...
My parents, for raising me to be as level-headed as they are. Ozzy Osbourne was a hero until his TV show made him look silly...though hell, I still buy anything the man commits to vinyl, CD, etc....even that crappy Black Rain, LOL!
