UPDATE - 6/13/09: We have a temporary studio in place at the moment so we can still practice with the equipment. If you haven’t done so already, please take a look at our pics we have of the setup. Even though this will be short-term, we have the capability to now begin re-recording our demos and creating our first EP “The Arrivalâ€. This album will contain lyrics [finally] and will also be available for download on our page. However, due to a lack of space in the temporary studio, we will not have real drums recorded on the album. To be honest, chances are we might not have live drums on both EPs and just go with Fruity Loops tracks until our studio is finalized and has the capability to properly record the drums.
In summary, the overall plan is to release both EPs this summer available for download. Once the studio is completed, we will then go back and re-record both EPs again, WITH REAL DRUMS and with all of our equipment properly linked together for optimal results. Thus, we will create a full-length album out of both EPs which will represent our first official release on the market with serial number, bar code, and full artwork. We will certainly keep all of you updated as we make progress with the studio, both EPs, and eventual full-length release.
UPDATE - 6/6/09: Transzendence is back from a brief absence to tie up some loose ends involving the creation of our own recording studio. After some difficulties obtaining a business loan in these harsh economic times, we have finally had success as we are bypassing the banking system and currently in the process of restoring an old building that is prime for a recording studio. We are hoping to have everything finished for the end of June, possibly mid-July if all goes smoothly. Please stay tuned for more news from Transzendence as we are working hard to write & record new material, gain a fan base, and finalize our studio.
