A Note from the Creator...
Hi, I'm Kim Crigler, founder and CEO of PRDesigns. I started this company with the idea that good quality and responsive customer service didn't have to be compromised by price. It's worth the effort because I know you work hard for your business; why shouldn't you expect the same in return? My designers actually like what they do, taking pride in their work and attention to detail, so the customer is 100% satisfied!
Fast service and response without the use of cheap logo generating software or copyright strings attached! I think we all have seen this scenario too many times before: A client outsources their graphic branding work and are provided with a less than perfect logo they can't even use without crediting the designer everytime they use it or paying a percentage of their profits to the designer for the logo. Here at PRD, we don't know the meaning of "fine print".
Let's not beat around the bush... How do we work?
When PRD creates a logo, we first follow this logo design process to ensure that the final design suits the needs of the clients…
•Design Brief: Conduct a questionnaire or interview with the client to get the design brief.
•Research: Conduct research focused on the industry itself, on its history, and on its competitors.
•Reference: Conduct research into logo designs that have been successful and current styles and trends that may be related to the design brief.
•Sketching & Conceptualizing: Develop the logo design concept(s) around the brief and research.
•Reflection: Take breaks throughout the design process. This lets ideas mature and helps us renew our enthusiasm. Receive feedback . Keep open communication available 24/7;365.
•Positioning: Position yourself as a contractor or build a long lasting relationship. ie. Client tells you what to do OR you guide the client to the best solution. The latter is usually best however personally, I try to find a happy medium.
•Presentation: Choose to present only a select few logos to the client or a whole collection. Presenting only the best is recommended.
•Celebration: Drink beer , eat chocolate, sleep, start on next logo design. (ahh... the good life...)
