WOW BOB WOW

JIMMY ZUREK (vocals & synthesizer vocoder / frontman & bandleader) and MAX PIVA (guitar) started composing songs together in the indian summer of 2007 based on dialogues and moods of David Lynch and poems of Heiner Müller.
The lyrics are assembled cutouts of scenes of David Lynch, poems of Heiner Müller translated by JIMMY ZUREK and text by JIMMY ZUREK.
In summer/autumn 2008 JIMMY started writing special lyrics: a collection of poems called "LOVE LETTERS FOR NINA".
In autumn 2007 BORIS VALENTINITSCH (piano & keyboards) joined the music project also as a composer and they formed the band MÄDCHEN AMICK with ROBERT SCHWARZ (electronics) and HELMUT STEKL (trumpet & clarinet, backvocals).
ROLAND WAGNER (drums) and HERMAN MONSTER MEHL (bass) joined in winter 2007.
In summer 2008 MICHAEL SCHULLER (guitar) joined the band and MARCO FITZ (bass) displaced HERMAN MONSTER MEHL.
In autumn 2008 RAPHAELA BEIER (cello) joined the band and in winter 2008 MAX PIVA (guitar) left the band.
From now on the band is called WOW BOB WOW.
JIMMY & BORIS are still composing lovely songs together.
In autumn 2009 WOW BOB WOW will release their first album "WELCOME TO THE FREAKS CLUB".
FREAKS CLUB is the private fan-club of the band WOW BOB WOW and it's on myspace.com/freaksclubobwow
