May 2007... hmmm .. aboot time to update this, eh?July 2005 -- I packed up my life from Gainesville, Florida, USA and drove 3,200 miles over to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Nothing quite like a cross country trip with just your car and a uhaul trailer. The sun staring you down every day until it disappears below the horizon.
Life in Vancouver has been filled with new thriving experiences. Cascading rooftops over a mountainous landscape. Snow-capped mountains right outside your window. Sporadic days of managable snow fall. Enough to make the landscape magical, but not enough to disrupt your life.
Tree lined roads, and immaculately landscaped surroundings.
So far, so good.... I just need to meet people outside of work, which is kind of tough when you like the people who work for you and they like you.
Off to frolic.
