. . Welcome to Royal Destiny Kennel. We are a kennel based out of Peoria, Illinois. We take pride in our kennel, dogs and the puppies that are produced. Our kennel is made up of two bloodlines, which are: Cady Bloodline and Watchdog Bloodline. Our A.P.B.T.’s are C.K.C. Registered, A.D.B.A. Registered and we are in the process of obtaining U.K.C. Registration. Our kennel consists of three Dams and four Studs. We may not have been around as long as some of the other Pit Bull Kennels you’ll find on the internet, and we are still working on developing our breeding stock. But that’s the whole idea of this site; to show our dogs/pups to the masses and to distribute them around the entire U.S. and hopefully the world as well to make us a well known and respected kennel operation. We are a young and upcoming kennel and bloodline; we have been in operation since 1998. Our ten year anniversary is in August 08. We work with each of our dogs daily so to fine tune their structure and obedience skills. We strive to produce some of the most beautiful, well proportioned, and obedient dogs the Midwest has ever seen coming out of Central Illinois.
Obedience: is obtained by working with each of our dogs individually on a daily basis. We train them in general obedience such as to sit, stay, walk along side us (so not to pull us as we take them for walks), and to be well mannered and safe around adults, children and other dogs alike. We have three children ages 4-9, they interact with the dogs daily as well. This way the dogs/pups are used to an environment full of children and human interaction. Our children can play with them and even take the dogs/pups food and water bowls from them as the dogs feed. This is simply a safe guard; as a lot of homes that the pups go to will have children, and kids will be kids (Safety First). We feel that through these basic training techniques are dogs have developed a great temperament and are able to live and interact in any household. We also train our dogs for weight pull competitions.
Their beautiful colors and markings are achieved simply by breeding our dams with the appropriate stud to produce some magnificent puppies. Their structure/size is achieved through breeding the appropriate dogs together as well as what they are fed and the vitamin supplements they receive. We do not feed our dogs the outrageously expensive dog foods (with the problem of our economy many people cannot continue such a regiment once they bring their pup home). So we look for a food that has the same ingredients as the high priced foods at a more affordable price for our customers. We feed and recommend Purina Dog Chow and Purina Puppy Chow to all of our dogs/pups. We also give our dogs daily vitamin supplements and once a week we give each of our dog’s vitamin C so to maintain their health even in the worse of conditions. Twice a month we give them a treat made up of boiled hamburger (drained completely) mixed with rice and Purina. This helps them keep their great size and also keeps them healthy, as well as gives them a break from simply feeding them just hard dog food. We only recommend soft can food on occasion as a treat; the hard dog food cuts back on tartar build up and tooth decay as well as strengthening their teeth. We also give our dog/pups a vet recommended Omega 3 vitamin supplement so to help with shedding, dandruff and to help maintain a beautiful shiny coat.
