About Me

The Sacred Truths 2003-2008 R.I.P.
"The Sacred Truths changed my views on the music industry as much as Hunter S. Thompson and Aleister Crowley did on the literary industry. I became an instant fan."
- Chuck Foster, The Seattle Sinner
"one of the WEIRDEST god damn bands in the entire Northwest...These guys are WAY too hard to explain...I hope you will find them as HIGHLY amusing as I do. More likely they'll just scare the sh*t out of everybody"
- Rob "Captain" Morgan, The Squirrels & Pop Lust magazine
"Imagine a death-metal band made up of Jad Fair and his D&D group .. in front of funky, choppy beats, three cowled and crowned singers intoned manfully and antiphonally about parking lots, donuts, pumpkins of doom, flying psychic catheads, hot air balloon trips to the moon, and the Vortex. Once in a while they'd blow cornets and winding horns in unison or separately, and the tall singer kept making this odd ululation that sounded like a newscaster imitating Yoko Ono. The stage was flanked with glowing plastic pumpkins .. and there was a bucket, which the band warned everybody they mustn't touch. Of their show, it would make a cat laugh."
- Mark Campos
"...are in a genre all their own, with outrageous stage antics comparable only to 70s groups like Devo...Their diversity and ability to tip-toe across several genre and styles of music is truly what makes them a show worth seeing more than once."
- The Seattle Sinner
