Local Flow born in Philippines started listening to rap music at the age of 8 when his brother got an album by Tupac, as time came by Local Flow started to listen to Eminem, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Busta Rhymes and Xzibit est, he was greatly influenced by hip hop and decided that he himself wants to be a rapper.
By the age of 12, in the process of being a rapper Local Flow expanded his taste for Hip Hop by listening to other rappers such as Bow Wow, Lil Romeo, Nelly, Chingy, Ludacris, Lil Jon and The eastside Boyz, Young Bloods and JD and new rappers...Not only in hip hop, Local Flow also started listening RNB, Slow Jams and Sole.
At age 13, he started Writing songs and downloading Instrumentals from other artist and rapped to it. his first ever recording was from a program called voice recorder, he got out the microphone from his computer and played the instrumentals in windows media player then started recording. Now he has proper recording equipment aswell as his own beats, thanks to his producer Big Boy D
