Underdogma was officially launched in 1998 by Carlton Duff and Grant Williams. Ben Sawin and Dan Reynolds created the website...Greg Bowers and Bryan Hovey assisted and made repairs to the site. Matt Costello wrote the prescriptions, and Glenn Tillman, the tribal elder, chronicled it with white knuckles on the wheel on a lonely Ohio freeway.
Underdogma's first release "Judge not..." was a two disc set of head splitting rock n' roll, featuring tracks from Raging Slab, Solace, Taildragger, Syrup, Ironboss, Five Horse Johnson, and many more!
Throttlerod's "Eastbound And Down" was released in 2000. This full-length featured these road warriors blasting out southern rock fury.
Our 3rd release was a joint effort with Game Two , two tracks of southern fried metal from Alabama Thunderpussy and two blasts of New Jersey riff rock from Halfway To Gone (currently out of print).
Ironboss/Motorcycle Man was Underdogma's 4th release, 7" black wax, hard southern rock, one original, and one Saxon cover. 'nuff said.
Our fifth release was a CD EP from Richmond, Virginia's wall of sound Sunnshine entitled "Engender" .
Release 6 was another split with Game Two featuring two lumbering tracks from Boston rawk kingpins Roadsaw and two from UK's Blackrock... The Boston Sherwood Tapes is strange, heavy, and beautiful.
Old no. 7 is a real rock show, captured and stipped to its wild-eyed skeleton, no overdubs, no bullshit rock n' roll "Guns Don't Kill People...Ironboss Does"
