Jack & the Dirts

About Me

Having been a working musician since the age of fifteen, Ol’ Jack, here, has amassed a truckload of road wisdom and subject matter for the songs he writes. Oddly enough, he has amassed absolutely no cash while doing so.An alumni of The Golden Retrievers, Mighty Fine Wine and Monkey Salad as well as an original member of the Scranton original music pioneers, Lavender Fang (knock it off, it was a cool name at the time), he’s been around the block a time or two and you can hear it in the way he makes even a light-hearted scenario appear to be absolutely hopeless. Seriously, he does sad songs well.Influenced by everything from Merciful Fate to Waylon Jennings, if you listen really closely, you can hear bits and pieces of them all in his music. But he’d rather you just listened for fun. So, tune in and turn it up. It’ll be a hoot.

So check back to see who's doin' what on the latest recordings.

In a non-descript world, a drunken ass is a breath of fresh air.

Ever wake up after a binge and feel like an ass? Making wildly frantic phone calls to the few people you remember having seen in order to make you rather ham-fisted apologies. Not out of sorrow for wh...
