WhipStaff Ranch and Rescue is celebrating it's 19th year of operation in 2009! We are the only animal welfare organization in the northern part of the state that is able to work with all species of animals. Animals accepted into our rescue are treated like they were our own pets until we place them into a new home. We tell you everything we know about the animal- good points and bad habits that need work. We work with livestock, horses, small caged animals and more. We rehabilitate and rehome hundreds of animals each year. We are a volunteer based organization and rely on donations and adoption fees to keep the rescue going.Whipstaff Rescue in a non-profit an species animal rescue nestled in the country roads of Solway. As little kids we all had a dream that we would never have to see an animal go hungry and be alone. As adults we now help hundreds of animals a year find food, medical attention, water, shelter, and the most important- a family that will love them.We joke around at the rescue that we want to spay/neuter and educate the public so that we could go out of business! Just think of how wonderful it would be to have a world where there are not any starving beaten and murdered animals. It may be an impossible goal for our life time but we sure hold out hope that we are doing our part to impact the overpopulation problem.****************************************************
