Where shall I begin...Music is my life...its the first thing I do when I wake and the last thing I do before I go to sleep....well actually I’ve been told I sing in my sleep...(it really wouldn’t surprise me if that was true).
I come from a very musical background; everyone in my family can sing which is great! I didn’t always want to be a singer I actually fell into it by accident. I was 11years old and the whole school had to gather in the hall where our Head teacher was making us rehears for the Christmas play that was going to take place...I however was simply doing my own thing and talking away to those around me. Sure enough she shouted my name out and everyone laughed, then she told me to stand up and said I should sing silent night by my self (how ironic...being silent was the one thing I couldn’t do!) anyway...what should have been embarrassing paved the way for what I now call a blessing. It earned me the name 'Lady Vocal' and for that experience I will be for ever grateful.
I would also like to give a shout out to my boys' The LINCS Crew' who took me under their wings since 2001, they did the rapping and i gave them the killer hooks..LOL, no seriously though...Chi, Riley, Ewan, Geoff, Silky & Ben...im your girl for life!!!
I am currently embarking on a music career as a solo singer/songwriter. To want something so bad…to dream about it so much…I just want to sing! But to be honest the opportunity to work in the music industry its self, would be a blessing. I write my own material and create my own melodies, I think my worst habit is that I seem to find harmonies to every song, sometimes I don’t even realize i'm doing it...I blame my mum she's a bad influence on me (ha-ha-ha) to me; she's the queen of Harmonies- she really is my role model.
I am an honest, loyal and fair person and I value everyone equally. I love to laugh, meet new people, read, watch films, travel and I am very passionate about anything involving music. To describe me would be to say ‘I am that I am’ I have always been and will never change.
