The Palladium Club lies in a Bideford back street, away from the commercial hustle and bustle. The bar area is reached through a dark passage,you sign in, and the vibe is tangible.Until recently the Palladium would have been described as a proper smoky little club, and it has retained the atmosphere well. The walls are lined with photos of performers, the lights are low, you know this place has history. The Club already has a strong underground reputation for hosting great music, and an impressive list of past and future bookings - see below. It is a musicians favourite too, the simple stage area is cosy and intimate and a pleasure to perform in. Regular jam nights are held along with gigs of many kinds, local bands, touring bands, individuals, and treasures such as John Otway or the Convulsions thrown in. The Palladium Club, a little known jewel in Bideford's crown, for those who love live and varied music. Don't tell everyone!
