Doublewide Skate and Surf Shop originally opened its doors in 2004, in an actual doublewide trailer! Located beside the Skate Barn Skate Park, The shop has since moved into a building on Hwy 17. Owner Jimmy Ellington had a vision to create a scene in small but rapidly growing community and has steadily been giving back, providing skateboards, surfboards, and a skate park for all. In 2008 Doublewide opened its second location in Downtown Wilmington, NC. Doublewide Skate Shop Downtown is the regions only core skate shop!
