About Me
Mikko Jokisalo is self taught artist working in the entertainment industry. Born 31.03.1988 in Moscow, Russia and mowed to Finland at the age of three. He has drawed his whole life, but started doing it seriously at 14 year old. What has kept him drawing all these years are inspiration and motivation he gets from games. Games are becoming more and more enjoyable and incredibly stunning what comes to visuals, and that offers more joy and challenge for todays artists working in gaming industry.
In his work Jokisalo uses both traditional medium and digital to achieve wanted results. When he creates digitally he uses photoshop for digital painting and his trusted partner, A4 sized wacom intuos 3 tablet. And what goes for traditional, his faworite weapons of choise are alcohol markers.
His life goal is to become good at what he does and always heading towards to improve himself so he could create more and more visually stunning works.
