Dj Groove Freak loves Great music & loves to make the people move. Dj Groove Freak quote - "GET YA FUNKN GROOVE ON!" Groove Freak started his career 5 years ago Organising special events then moving into mobile & Corprate Events For many large companies like Shell, Rip Curl Australia & Harvey Norman At this time Groove Freak Also appeared at Lambys Nightclub & The sphinx (Geelong). Groove Freak was then ofered a panel operator job (Live mxing) on a Geelong radio station (Riot Show 4-6pm Thursdays) at pulse Fm Geelong this quickly led to a Co host position, and a second show Riot night on Mondays. Groove Freak was just finishing training for a certificate in radio broadcast, when he was offered his own show called Technology on Friday nights under the slogan "The best beats and latest remixes". This gave him, 3 out of 5 prime drive time slots each week.
Groove Freak then decided to concentrate further on improving his skills undertaking Dj courses at Dj mixing school and Dmc music being trained by leading Dj's Phil k, Ivan Gough, Dj selekt & Luke Moylan as well as DJ mixing school, learning Dj skills and also remixing and production. Groove Freak also completed a certificate in business management and also RSA to help him further understand the business of running and promoting a nightclub.
Groove Freak has also had residencies at clubs such as Twister, Area61, Altitude, Glacier, Motel, The Grand and the Joint in the city to name a few During this time Groove Freak has also made powerful contacts at the top of the chain in the dance music scene in Australia, these contacts combined with Dj Groove Freaks natural skill for choosing quality music ensure that he is at the absolute forefront of the music scene worldwide and continues to be ahead of music trends. Groove Freak continues to be a leading Dj And producer of quality house music in Australia.
Mike Aka: (Dj eM), is one of Melbourne’s biggest up and coming multiple styles Dj. Mikes career started around 9 years ago with his own mobile dj business, both running and playing at parties all across Melbourne for crowds of up to 800 people. Mike’s musical styles have ranged all the way from R & B and Hip/Hop, to House both Commercial & Electro, all the way to Techno and Hard Style.
Around 4 years ago Mike jumped straight into the club scene and has now played, headlined, organized and ran a number of venues around Melbourne such as, Glasshouse, Club 169, Pulse Nightclub, The Palace, Madisons Bar, Twister Nightclub, Casey’s Nightclub, HSD, The Joint, Glacier Nightclub, Area 61, Traffik Nightclub, F4, Bar Altitude, Volt and Malibu Bar to name a few. Also Various Pubs and Bars including the Stanford Hotel, The Pakenham Pub, Mckillop’s Bar, Diva Bar, Kittens and also various events such as the St. Kilda festival and so on.
Since Mike has now expanded himself into Hard Dance & Hard Style, you can now find him not only playing his own remixed electro tracks, but rocking the hell out of the Hard Dance scene as well. Mike and his company are quickly becoming an increasingly large force as the company Groove Empire is constantly growing and now dealing in everything from the running of Night Clubs, Mobile Music, Djs, Producing & Remixing Music, Promoting and Marketing, big dance events & many other aspects of the nightclub industry. Over the last few years, Mike has become an extremely talented, highly popular, well respected dj and is now becoming a widely recognized name across Melbourne and surrounding areas. Mike and his businesses are destined to become bigger and bigger as his career progresses into the future.
Ive been djing for as long as i can remember playing not only throughout Melbourne, but also across the UK & Europe in a 3 year travelling rampage! Now back at home alot of my time is spent managing my business which alone boasts over 30 Venues each week! I am the Director of B.P.M Entretainment, & also part of Melbournes rising Dj's known as "Groove Dj's". Which consists of Dj eM & Groove Freak & all together make up GROOVE EMPIRE.
I am constantly loving the club scene and enjoy mixing it up everywhere i play staying ahead with my music. Music & Djing is what i love and live for! I am not a fan of wanabe dj's. "Its all about the house music", pretty much says it all. I love playing Vocal, Commercial & Dirty House, although Fat Electro Beats are growing on me fast!

Groove Empire was born in early 2007. Andy aka “Groove Freak†whose multiple House Electro nights are forever expanding all across Melbourne and abroad teamed up with good friend Mike aka “Dj eM†that has lead to the birth of a brand new Era. A brand new company combined with a more powerful force than ever. Grouping together not only with Mike, but also with fellow friend Damien Ikin aka “Dj D Stylez†the owner and manager of BPM Entertainment. His company alone boasts over 30 residencies throughout Melbourne and surrounding suburbs! All together they are “Groove Empire,†specializing in House Electro events, promotions, producing and running nightclubs. Groove Empire is now a huge force in the Nightclub and Entertainment industry. This amazing team of experienced dj’s are constantly attracting huge audiences from all over, and wowing them with their fantastic performances.
