Desde sus comienzos en el año 1999 su carrera ha ido hacia arriba gracias a su talento tanto como deejay como productor. En ese mismo año creo el colectivo Xpansive sound con el que actualmente triunfa gracias a su sello Xpansive records
Ha pasado por las mejores salas y festivales de techno del pais durante el periodo del 2000-2007 como fabrik, aqua, party club, , la mision, go , electrosonic festival en las ediciones 2006 y 2007, etc...
Cuenta con el gran apoyo de dos de los mejores deejays del mundo y sus temas estan incluidos en los charts mundiales de deejays como CARL COX y CRISTIAN VARELA, IVAN PICA, DJ NANO, DJ NEIL, ISMAEL RIVAS, ETC.... que cada fin de semana tambien pinchan las producciones de Sergio castilla , al igual que miles de deejays en todo el mundo. Ya cuenta con un repertorio de mas de 40 PRODUCCIONES PROPIAS delas cuales ha editado en vinilo MAS DE 10, en sellos como donkey head, Emphatic, Pornographic recordings, xpansive rec.
Un dato muy importante son sus sets de house y elektro house compuestos 100 por 100 de sus producciones: Live sets .
Sus seiones en loca fm ya son habituales y aclamadas por la audiencia.
En el 2008 es reconocido por la revista DEEJAY , nada mas y nada menos que en su primer año con nominado con cuatro nominaciones para los premios Deejaymags 2007, que sin duda dejan claro que sergio es una de las figuras en el futuro de la musica electronica nacional y con proyeccion mundial , consiguiendo ser el numero 12 del ranking nacional, 2º mejor productor y 2º mejor deejay ademas de la segunda posicion como mejor sello de xpansive records.
